Our child’s first word was “armarillo” which is yellow in Spanish. We are members of the United States of America National Spanish Honor Society! We learn Spanish in school every day. We play sports every week such as soccer, baseball, football, basketball, tennis, golf, track etc. We are former sports trainers and managers for school sports programs. Improving sports in our middle schools will increase productivity among our students. Children that play sports and that have proper nutrition tend to be more successful in life. We are fundraising for lunches breakfast snacks and proper meals and pro bono services. This endeavor will contribute to 6 spotlighted middle schools ; Glasgow Middle, Howard University Middle, Virginia Beach Middle, Arbutus Middle, and Takoma Park Middle , Seaside Christian School for new sports equipment, better fields, upgraded uniforms, expanded coaches partnerships and better lunches and snacks as well as language programs such as Spanish and ESOL English as a second language in these spotlighted schools.
